      Highlands College’s Traditional Program is designed for students 18-24 years old and offers rigorous academics and hands-on practice in a dynamic, student-focused environment.

      Highlands College Evening is a program for adult learners who wish to explore their ministry calling and develop biblically-based leadership skills, while balancing other life commitments.
    - Professors in Residence
      The Highlands College Professors-in-Residence is a group of esteemed, cross-functional innovators that bring their knowledge and experience to the students of Highlands College. The purpose of the program is to expose students to a wide breadth of different leadership approaches to better educate, equip, and empower them to be leaders in their chosen ministry fields.

- - Before applying for admission to Highlands College, we want you to be fully equipped for success. Students that succeed at Highlands College are resolute in their faith, passionate about their calling, connected to their community, value the pursuit of excellence, and are surrendered to God’s plan for their life.

      Your application and supporting documents tell the story of your accomplishments and your calling into ministry. Our admissions committee will fully and thoughtfully review what you submit as you apply for the Traditional student program.

      Highlands College will work with you and your family to develop a financial plan that suits you. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are also pleased to offer several new scholarship opportunities for new and returning students.

      Thanks to the generosity of our Eternal Impact Campaign donors, Highlands College scholarships are available to both incoming and returning Traditional students.
    - Visit Us
      We have many ways that you can learn more about Highlands College both virtually and in person. The best way to experience HC is to visit us in Birmingham! We would love to welcome you on campus for one of our upcoming preview days or a campus visit.

- - Students who receive ministry training at Highlands College are eligible for placement upon graduation, and the Ministry Placement team works with them from day one to prepare for that moment.

      Living in student housing is a great way for Traditional Program students to get the full HC experience. You’ll create a lifelong network of friends in Christ as you share community and support each other through the unique rewards and challenges of ministry training.

      We create experiences that teach students how to become intentional leaders and devoted followers of Christ. Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to hear from leaders around the world from both vocational ministry and secular businesses. Learn more.

      At Highlands College, we believe in creating leaders who are mentally, spiritually, and physically strong. HC Fit is a cornerstone program designed to help form a student’s holistic character by giving them the tools they need to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle while also using sports to grow in their leadership abilities.

      From 2001 until now, Highlands College has grown to become a world-class training ground for over 650 students who are now placed in 176 ministries, 32 states, and 6 countries. Read our history to learn how we got here.

      Our goal is to fund Endowed Student Scholarships for every student who attends, so their entire focus can be devoted to developing into world-renowned leaders who advance the Kingdom of God through the local church.

      The Highlands College Strategic Plan follows the instruction of God in Habakkuk 2 to clarify our vision for all by writing it and making it plain. The College followed a rigorous, inclusive, consultant-led process, spanning six months, to develop its Strategic Plan.
