Why did you choose to teach at Highlands College?
I grew up attending and serving at Church of the Highlands. I am passionate about making sure Highlands College has excellent instruction. I also love empowering the next generation of church leaders to understand the Bible and be able to teach it to others with confidence.
How does the New Testament Survey course shape the future leaders of the church?
Our New Testament course focuses on how the books of the New Testament fit within the grand story of Scripture. We discuss how the Gospels, Acts, Letters, and Revelation, Jesus calls us into a relationship with Him and community with others.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I’ve done all kinds of crazy things in ministry from touring as a worship leader, to organizing international mission trips, to running logistics for a Christian marriage retreat lodge in California called JH Ranch. What seemed random at the time, God has used to prepare me for my role at Highlands College!
