A Next Level Health Program
As part of our commitment to the holistic development of our students and our shared goal of leading a healthy, active lifestyle, we have taken the next step in enhancing our health and wellness program through an initiative known as HC Fit.
The core components of HC Fit include a meal plan of healthy, high-quality food, access to on-campus fitness facilities and programming, and participation in Highlands College fitness events-such as the Expedition adventure race and the Highlands College Half Marathon.
HC Fit is provided in our all-inclusive Student Experience Fee.
Each semester, students join an intramural team of their choice, ranging from kickball to Ultimate Frisbee. This experience helps students develop Christ-like character through time spent with fellow students.
Along with Intramural Sports and students participate in fitness classes led by certified fitness trainers.
Students join together every spring to train for and complete the Highland College 10K (Evening students) and Half Marathon (Traditional students). These events stretch students physically, spiritually, and emotionally teaching reliance on God and their communities for support.
Expedition is a challenge where students work as teams to race through physically challenging obstacles. It’s an unforgettable experience held on one day every fall, rain or shine.
Our on-campus food hall offers a delicious variety of nutritionally balanced and fresh foods to fuel our students as they pursue their calling. As a part of their Student Experience Fee, students have unlimited access to multiple food stations-like grilled foods, sandwiches, salad, and pizza-when the food hall is open. Harvest Food Hall goes beyond building healthy physical habits to create intentional opportunities to rest and restore the soul. The food hall is a screen-free environment that encourages meaningful connections between students, faculty, and the entire Highlands College community.
HC Dining can accommodate any dietary restrictions.
