Highlands College “HC Pass”

 

Your student ID or “HC Pass” is your official student ID and currency for Highlands College!

HC Pass holds your access and funds for campus life! HC Pass serves Highlands College students as a convenient student ID badge for accessing campus and events, see and contribute to HC Cash funds availability, and more.

Students can add HC Pass to Apple Wallet for ease of use and convenience.

What is HC Pass?

Student ID

Being able to have a contactless HC Pass makes it easy and convenient to access buildings like the residence hall and library, and make payments on and around campus including paying for coffee and meals. 

HC Pass is not only convenient, it is also more secure. HC Pass on your phone allows you to leave your wallet safely behind. Students don’t have to worry about losing physical cards. Access residence halls, dining halls, gyms, libraries, and campus events using your iPhone or Apple Watch.

HC Pass is safe. It is protected by two-factor authentication.

HC Cash

HC Pass allows students to use their HC Cash account funds, acting as a pre-paid debit card, and is linked to student’s meal plans making it simple and easy for students to keep up with one account and one card for campus funds. HC Pass can be used at on-campus dining facilities, Campus Goods & Supply, vending machines, and more.

Parents and students can access and manage their HC Cash anytime, anywhere.

HC Pass On Your Device

 

Your iPhone is always with you. Keep your HC Pass with you too!

HC Pass works where you use your plastic card. Add your HC Pass to your Apple Wallet to easily access your HC Pass from your iPhone.

Look for the contactless symbol to indicate systems where you can tap HC Pass from your Apple Wallet using your iPhone or Apple Watch. Simply hold the top of your iPhone or Apple Watch near the reader.

Once you’ve activated your HC Pass, add it to your Apple Wallet. 

To add your HC Pass to your iPhone or Apple Watch, download and open your Atrium Campus Connect app. The app will work with iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, or later running the latest version of iOS. Apple Watch Series 1 or later running the latest version of watchOS.

Downloading Atrium Campus Connect & Adding HC Pass to Your Wallet

Step-by-Step

The app will work with iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, or later running the latest version of iOS. Apple Watch Series 1 or later running the latest version of watchOS.

To download:

  1. Search and “Get” the Atrium Campus Connect Application from your App Store.
  2. You will need to enter your Apple ID and sign-in to iCloud to download the Atrium Campus Connect App
  3. Open the Atrium Campus Connect app from your device
  4. Next, you need to Authenticate to access your HC Pass Dashboard Enter your Highlands College email in the Username field. Click Next.
  5. Enter your Highlands College login password in the Password field. Click Sign In.
  6. Choose one of the two verification methods provided. (We recommend using the Text option.)
  7. Enter the verification code provided to you on your mobile device. Click Verify.
  8. Next, Add the Atrium Campus Connect to your Apple Wallet by selecting add to wallet within the app. Add HC Pass to Wallet

 

Once you’ve activated your HC Pass, add it to your Apple Wallet. 

To add your HC Pass to your iPhone or Apple Watch, download and open your Atrium Campus Connect app. iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, or later running the latest version of iOS. Apple Watch Series 1 or later running the latest version of watchOS.

  1. Download Atrium Campus Connect Application from your App Store

  2. Open the Atrium Campus Connect app from your device

  3. Once in the app, Select Manage Credentials below your profile photo.

  4. Select Add to Wallet on your devices.

 

From the dashboard, you can:

  • Check your balances in Account Management
  • Make HC Cash Deposits by adding a payment method
  • Add friends and relatives that will need access to manage your HC Pass account by selecting “Personalize” then “Grant Guest Access.” Parents will create a username and password with authentication once guest access is granted.

Students, in order to add friends and relatives:

  1. Select the “Personalize” section
  2. Click “Grant Guest Access.”
  3. Parents will enter the username and password with authentication via email once you have added them

Friends and Family will:

  1. Your student will grant you Guest Access to Contribute to their HC Pass account and manage funds.
  2. Click the link in the email and sign-in with the provided credentials.

Basic meal plans are covered with tuition, any additional meal plan options will be funded through HC Cash. Students and parents can access and manage HC Cash accounts by signing in here.

Yes! We offer a payment that allows you to make two payments toward your tuition/fees over the course of the semester. One payment at the beginning of the semester and one payment halfway through the semester.

The Series # for your Apple Watch can be found on the back of the Watch.

Note: Series 0 Apple Watch is not eligible for this program.

You can use your student ID card on up to two devices (one iPhone and one Apple Watch) that are signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID. 

For Apple users:

  1. You should use Find My iPhone to suspend or deactivate your Highlands Cards in Apple Wallet.
