At Highlands College, We Believe a Great Leader is a Lifelong Learner
We take a unique approach to higher education through a holistic training experience. Students attending Highlands College will be trained in four areas, known as the four pillars, to provide a holistic training experience so students graduate confident and competent ministry leaders ready to make an eternal impact.
Academic Instruction
Students become lifelong learners across a variety of subjects, focusing on foundational, biblical, and theological studies and learning to view and interact with the world through the lens of God’s word.
Earn an Associate of Arts in Ministry Leadership or Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries through a unique partnership with Southeastern University (SEU).

Ministry Training
A distinctive part of the Highlands College education is our ministry training program which consists of leadership classes focused specifically on ministry and extensive hands-on ministry training in one of eight specific practicums.

Character Formation
Intelligence and skill are meaningless without the character to lead. At Highlands College, we guide our students as they develop the discipline to make tough decisions, the tenacity to overcome adversity, and the humility to build and maintain meaningful relationships.
While character is developed in every area of the Highlands College experience, we incorporate athletics to intentionally create mentally and physically challenging environments. Every year, each student participates in intramural sports, a half marathon, and an adventure race called Expedition.
