TYPE 1

Each resident must sign the Highlands College Housing Covenant before initiating their lease. To review the agreed upon expectations and guidelines, please follow the above link.

TYPE 2

Resident Assistants, or RAs, are trained peer leaders who help to create a supportive, Christ-like atmosphere for residential students. They plan activities for the hall, set the tone for a positive environment, enforce Housing Covenants, and ensure students have what they need to succeed at HC.

Type 3

Please contact the front desk of your apartment complex for all emergency maintenance needs. Emergencies may include leaks and water damage, power outages, problems with air conditioning units, etc. 

For all other requests, submit a maintenance request form so our maintenance teams can assist you.

Security and Safety

In the event of a life or death emergency, please call 911. You can report any suspicious behavior by calling the front desk of your apartment complex and asking to speak with the courtesy officer. 

If you need to contact the Student Development Team outside of normal business hours, please call our after hours number at (205) 440-5012.
