APRIL 1

Priority Housing Application Date

Confirmed students should indicate intent to live in housing by this date to receive priority consideration and placement.

MAY 1

Priority Confirmation Date

Accepted students should submit all of the necessary requirements for their place in the enrollment class.

Fall ’24 Semester Applicants
STARTS IN AUGUST 2024
OCTOBER 1

Priority Application Date

Students with a complete admission application will be given priority consideration for admission and scholarships.

OCTOBER 15

Priority Confirmation Date + Housing Application Date

Application Requirements

Your application and supporting documents tell the story of your accomplishments and your calling into ministry. Our admissions committee will fully and thoughtfully review what you submit.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION TO THE TRADITIONAL PROGRAM YOU MUST:
  • Be between 18-24 years by the start of classes
  • Be a committed follower of Christ
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of the call of God on your life
  • Be a regular and active member of a local church for at least three months
  • A 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA
A COMPLETE APPLICATION FILE INCLUDES:
  • Completed online application
  • Payment of the $50 application fee
  • Official academic transcript(s)
    • If you are submitting a transcript from an institution outside of the United States, you must have your transcript evaluated by a foreign transcript evaluation service. This evaluation requirement also applies to transcripts for coursework earned outside of the United States who operate under the umbrella of an institution within the United States. Please notify your Admissions Coach if this is the case, and he/she will advise you on your next steps
  • Completed Background Check Questionnaire(s) or Consent Forms
    • If you are 19 or older: Please complete the Background Check Consent form.
    • If you are under 19: Please complete the Student Background Questionnaire, as well as a parent or legal guardian to complete the Parent Background Questionnaire.
  • Receipt of Completed Online Reference Form
  • Admissions Interview

If you are currently attending high school, you may request an in-progress transcript be sent to us for admission evaluation, followed by a final, official transcript upon graduation. An official transcript is sent directly to Highlands College from the high school.

If you have attended any college, you must submit an official transcript from each college or university you have attended. If you are currently enrolled, submit an unofficial transcript for preliminary evaluation, followed by a final, official transcript once you receive your final grades. An official transcript is sent directly to Highlands College from the college or university.

New Applicants:

  1. Click the START NEW APPLICATION button below to be guided to the Highlands College Dashboard.
  2. Once on the Dashboard, enter the required information to create your account and click Create Login.
  3. An account activation email will be sent to the email address you entered with the subject line “Account Creation Successful”
  4. Click the link within the account activation email to activate your account.
  5. Click “Go to your profile.”
  6. Log in with the email address and password used to create your account.
  7. Once you log in, you will be guided to the application dashboard. Select the Traditional Program application or the Evening Program application based upon the program you wish to pursue.

 

Attention International Applicants: Please review the application process and requirements for international admissions and contact the Admissions Team prior to submitting your application. We would like to speak with you before application submission, especially if you are not a United States citizen and require issuing a student visa to attend Highlands College.
